David grew up locally (in Longcot) and has always considered Faringdon his hometown. Currently working in Parliament as a Senior Parliamentary Assistant to a Conservative MP, David has a previous career as a theatre and live events producer and running his own small business. David continues to invest in and support businesses that provide technical services to theatre and events.
David is delighted to have an opportunity to stand for election in Oxfordshire and raise the issues that matter so much to residents of Faringdon and the surrounding villages. David will be championing rural business, supporting our town and villages to recover from the COVID-19 outbreak, pushing for improvements to our roads and services, especially on the A420 and encouraging a focus on sustainability and community in planning.
When not working in parliament, David can often be found on the family farm along the A420 between Little Coxwell and Longcot.
David is delighted to be standing for the seat which was once held by his grandfather, Mike Allsopp.
